“Educational Guidance in Laboratories”

Do you encounter issues regarding research guidance and laboratory management?
Laboratory education is a method of university education that Japan is proud of. With increased globalization and diversity in laboratories, to successfully implement this method of education, you need to understand its features and there are also several points to consider, such as sharing the philosophy of the lab and designing educational events throughout the year. We will consider how to implement such education in the laboratory, through examples of excellent laboratory education at Osaka University.
※Course credit will be given for Career Management B (7028) when attended.

《Profile》
 Dr. Hiroaki Sato completed the master's program at the Graduate School of Education, Hokkaido University in 1997 and completed the doctoral course at there in 2002. He worked at the Center for Education and Educational Research, the Faculty of Education, Ehime University as an Assistant Professor and Associate Professor from 2002 to 2013. Since 2013 he has been working at the Osaka university. His research topics include education development, course and curriculum improvement, and education technology.
