International Exchange with Consulate Officials
NAIST invited consular officials to its inaugural International Exchange Day, because NAIST regards collaboration with foreign governments as integral to its international cooperation and exchange. As a result, 22 consular officials from 12 countries attended and participated in laboratory tours of the graduate schools of Information Science, Biological Sciences, and Materials Science. After the laboratory tours, a tea party and reception were also held, offering consular officials an opportunity to talk with students from their respective countries.
