On February 6, 2014, the Center for International Relations held the third Global Campus Event "NAIST Tea Time" with more than 70 students, faculty and staff attending. In accordance with the "NAIST Globalization Strategic Plan 2011" and accompanying "Action Plan", Global Campus Events are aimed at strengthening NAIST’s on-campus community and fostering increased mutual understanding and familiarity among NAIST's diverse population of students, faculty and staff.

The event started with students from Bangladesh introducing Bangladesh Cha (tea). Two students demonstrated how to make the Cha, using the most common tea leaves and spices in Bangladesh. After the demonstration, well-boiled Cha and sweets imported directly from Bangladesh were served to all the attendees. The attendees enjoyed the exotic flavor, communicating with the participants in the event.

Next, PechaKucha presentations were delivered by the following three participants:
