On February 12th, the Center for International Relations (CIR) held its seventh Global Campus Event "NAIST Tea Time #7" with more than 70 students, faculty and staff attending. In accordance with the "NAIST Globalization Strategic Plan 2011" and accompanying "Action Plan", Global Campus Events are aimed at strengthening NAIST’s on-campus community and fostering increased mutual understanding and familiarity among NAIST's diverse population of students, faculty and staff.

After a brief welcome from CIR Director Steven Nishida, URA Saaya Tsutsue introduced “Chocolat Chaud”, which is popular during the winter season all over the world, particularly in Switzerland where she lived several years, and demonstrated how to make it with Steven as her assistant.

After the demonstration, warm Chocolat Chaud with chocolate made in Switzerland was served to all attendees. The attendees enjoyed the warm winter flavor and the culture, communicating with the participants in the event.

In the second half of the event, PechaKucha presentations were delivered by the following three students:
