On July 29, 2015, the Division for Global Education (formerly, Center for International Relations) hosted the 8th Global Campus Event "NAIST Tea Time" with more than 50 students, faculty and staff attending. In accordance with the "NAIST Globalization Strategic Plan 2011" and accompanying "Action Plan," Global Campus Events are aimed at strengthening NAIST’s on-campus community and fostering increased mutual understanding and familiarity among NAIST's diverse population of students, faculty and staff.

The event started with Sachi Ando, a director of the Division for Global Education, introducing iced tea with lemonade, also known as “Arnold Palmer.” After the demonstration, refreshing iced tea with lemonade and summer time snack were served. Attendees enjoyed socializing with each other over a cup of tea. Next, PechaKucha presentations were delivered by the following four participants:
