On November 8th, Dr. Evangeline P. Bautista, Dean of the School of Science and Engineering at Ateneo de Manila University made an official visit to NAIST Vice Director Atsuhiko Shinmyo. Exchanges between Ateneo de Manila University and NAIST started with the Graduate School of Information Science (GSIS) and have expanded to include the Graduate School of Materials Science (GSMS) at present. The Dean Bautista attended a midterm evaluation meeting of GSMS for the first time.
This was her first visit scince becoming the Dean of the School of Science and Engineering at Ateneo de Manila University, and Executive Director Atsuhiko Shinmyo, Prof. Kiyomi Kakiuchi, Prof. Jun Ohta (GSMS), Prof. Hiroyuki Seki (GSIS) and the Director of the Center for International Relations, Noriko Ito, welcomed her at the official visit. They shared information and exchanged opinions concerning further exchanges and activities.On the same day, Dean Bautista visited a laboratory at GSIS and had a meeting with GSMS faculty.
