On January 13th, President Sathit Puttachaiyoung and 28 faculty and staff members of the Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep (RMUTK), Thailand, visited NAIST to exchange information on the possibility of future student exchange between the two institutions.
NAIST President Naotake Ogasawara, Executive Director Mikio Kataoka, Graduate School of Information Science Dean Tsukasa Ogasawara, Professor Kenichi Matsumoto and Center for International Relations Director Tsutomu Hashida welcomed President Puttachaiyoung and the other four faculty members from RMUTK and Dr. Pattara Leelaprute from Kasetsart University.
Following the courtesy visit, a general introduction of NAIST was presented to all members of the group by International Activities Coordinator Junko Iwatsuki,. Then, the group visited laboratories in the Graduate School of Information Science.
