President Naotake Ogasawara, Masashi Kawaichi (Head of Division for Educational Development), and Sachi Ando (DGE Director) visited Universitas Jenderal Soedirma (Unsoed) in Indonesia on August 23 - 24, 2016.

Followed by the courtesy call to Dr. Achmad Iqbal (Rector), Prof. Dr. Mas Yedi Sumaryadi (Vice Rector of Academic Field), and Dr. Sigit Wibowo (Vice Rector of Planning, Cooperation, and Public Relations), the delegates had a meeting with deans from various faculties in science and technology, Dr. Suprayogi (Director of International Relations Office), and many others. At the information meeting to introduce NAIST's educational and research activities, active discussions took place with Unsoed's faculty and students.

Universitas Jenderal Soedirma is one of our partner universities in Indonesia, and our faculty members have actively involved in educational/research collaborations with Unsoed since then. This visit became an excellent opportunity for both universities to acknowledge the relationships for further collaborations.
