NAIST International Friendship Meeting was held at Millennium Hall on Thursday, January 26.

This meeting is an annual event which started in 1995 to promote an interaction between international students, foreign researchers, board members, faculty and staff, Japanese students and guests from several international exchange organizations. 296 people in total participated in the meeting this year.

After President Naotake Ogasawara made the opening remarks, all the participants who have different nationalities and different backgrounds mingled and had pleasant conversations with each other. They also enjoyed lively performances by Spanish and Mexican student, groups of Malaysian and Indonesian students as well as bingo game. The meeting was hugely successful as various groups of people got together and developed good relationships.
