On May 24th, 2017, Vice President Keitaro Nakatani from ENS Paris-Saclay visited NAIST.

At the courtesy visit, President Naokazu Yokoya, Vice President / Executive Director Kiyomi Kakiuchi, Associate Professor of the Institute for Research Initiatives Masato Miyake and Division for Global Education Director Tsutomu Hashida welcomed Vice President Nakatani and shared information and exchanged opinions concerning future activities through our Academic Exchange Agreement.

Vice President Nakatani also visited the Photonic Device Science Laboratory (Prof. Tsuyoshi Kawai) and met with the Graduate School of Materials Science (GSMS) Dean, Jun Ohta and confirmed the ongoing research activities to ascertain our current close academic ties and shared research trends. The exchange was another valuable opportunity to confirm and strengthen our institutions' growing relationship.
