Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) held a semi-annual Career and Scholarship Expo in the IPB Jobfair 2018 at Graha Widya Wisuda, Darmaga Campus, Bogor on April 28-29, 2018. The expo was organized by the Career and Alumni Affairs (CDA) Division of IPB and ceremonially opened by Dr. Drajat Martianto, Vice Rector of IPB for Education and Student Affairs. Forty companies participated in the event presenting job opportunities to more than 2000 expo visitors. Meanwhile, NAIST together with 17 universities/educational institutions took part in the scholarship and study information section of the event. Visitors from various backgrounds were not only students and graduates of IPB but also those of other universities, such as Bandung Institute of Technology, Gadjah Mada University, and Padjadjaran University.

Dr. Muchdar Davis, an Indonesian alumnus and member of the Indonesian NAIST Alumni Association (INAA) which was consigned to manage the NAIST Indonesia Office, represented NAIST at the IPB Jobfair 2018. He introduced the education programs and the new single graduate school system implemented at NAIST, and distributed our guidebooks and graduate school catalogues to interested attendees. More than 200 people visited the NAIST booth throughout the event.
