The Welcome Party for international students who entered NAIST this April was held at 2nd floor of the cafeteria on Friday, April 5th.

NAIST holds this Welcome Party twice a year to help students in starting their life at NAIST through this opportunity to build relationships with each other, their tutors and the staff.

Following introductions from the 24 new international students, the students' tutors, and NAIST staff got to know each other and share a little about their cultures, backgrounds and their path to NAIST. The party was very successful, with many students remaining to talk even as the venue was closing, and students left with the beginnings of relationships that may last throughout their time here and beyond.
