On December 5, 2022, NAIST concluded an agreement for Admission on recommendation with Showa Women's University (Tokyo).

 President Shiozaki visited the Showa Women's University and held a Signing Ceremony with Dr. Bando Mariko, Chancellor, Chairperson of the board of the Showa Women's University, and Dr. Kohara Natsuko, President of the Showa Women's University.

 With this agreement, NAIST will promote the acceptance of diverse students from the Showa Women's University, which provides students with the ability to be globally active in any field, in addition to deep expertise.
