Online Study in Japan Fair for students in Thailand (2021/09/12-14)
Division for Global Education (DGE) participated in the Online Study in Japan Fair for Students in Thailand organized by MEXT Study in Japan Global Network Project from 12 to 14 September. DGE and two newly appointed NAIST International Student Ambassadors, Wassapon Watanakeesuntorn san (D3, Software Design and Analysis Laboratory) and Prom Kantuptim san (D2, Applied Quantum Physics Laboratory) hosted the participants during the consultation session by pleasantly answering the questions and having conversations in Thai language. In addition to this consultation sessions, Wassapon san and Prom san also made cheerful presentations to introduce their campus life including research and academic activities and leisure activities outside the lab to prospective Thai students.
A total of 43 participants visited the consultation booth and inquired information about such as English and/or Japanese proficiency and academic background required for regular course enrollment. Also, many participants seemed motivated in joining NAIST's internship programs to obtain research and educational experiences.
DGE will continuously engage in active recruiting/PR activities in a diverse range of countries and regions with NAIST International Student Ambassadors.
