The Career & Scholarship Expo 2017 was held by Bogor Agriculture University (IPB) in Bogor, Indonesia, on May 13-14, 2017. There were around 3,000 participants including current students, recent graduates and alumni as well as visitors including students and graduates from other universities outside of Bogor.

IPB organizes expos semiannually to prepare their students for higher education, employment, and entrepreneurship, as part of a mission to reduce the unemployment rate in Indonesia through career planning and development. Various companies, universities, embassies, and other related organizations participate in the event.

NAIST was represented by Dr. Muchdar Davis, an Indonesian alumnus and a member of the Indonesian NAIST Alumni Association (INAA) which was consigned to manage NAIST Indonesia Office. He introduced our programs to booth visitors and distributed our guidebooks and graduate school catalogues to interested attendees. More than 300 people visited the NAIST booth throughout the event.
