7. Qualifications
- Ph.D.
- Having outstanding achievements in sensing devices including scintillators, dosimeters or detector systems.
- Experience in the synthesis of bulk single crystals, transparent ceramics and glass materials sufficient for the purpose of education.
- Enthusiasm to promote the education and research of students in collaboration with Prof. Takayuki YANAGIDA who is a head of the Sensing Device Laboratory.
- Attainment of an academic degree from a foreign university and/or work experience in foreign research institutes (universities) are preferred.
- Japanese language skills sufficient for general discussion and paperwork.
8. Employment conditions
- Workdays: Monday through Friday
- Holidays: Saturday, Sunday, national holidays, the end/beginning of the year and the anniversary of the founding of NAIST (October 1st)
- Working hours are left to the professor's discretion
9. Remuneration
Calculated in accordance with the salary payment regulations of NAIST
